Talking to your patient about SDB

As you can imagine, there is a lot of information to take in for a patient who either suspects he or she might have a sleep disorder, or who has just been diagnosed with one.

As well as giving patients all the information they need on sleep studies and treatment options, it’s important to remind them that they are certainly not alone.

Sleep-disordered breathing affects 34% of men and 17% of women aged between 30-70.1 That means that more than 3 in 10 men and nearly 1 in 5 women are on the same journey as your patient.
