Adaptive Servo Ventilation Therapy

Adaptive Servo Ventilation, using ResMed’s PaceWave therapy, is an effective treatment for many forms of Central Sleep Apnea (CSA).¹ Pressurised air is sent from a therapy device through air tubing and a mask to the upper airway.

• Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) therapy monitors your breathing and automatically adjusts how much support is given in order to stabilise your breathing.
• ASV Auto therapy is very similar to ASV, with the addition of an expiratory pressure which protects your upper airway from collapse during treatment.
